ABOUT KEMER

Kemer is a district of Antalya on the coast of Mediterranean Sea that is 40 km away from the city center. The district Kemer is one of the most important tourism centers of Turkey with a coastal strip of 52 km at the foothills of Taurus Mountains. One of the most attractive features of Kemer is its natural beauties. Here sea, forests and mountains converge at the same point. Moreover, another important attraction is caves. For instance, Beldibi cave is on the shoreline 27 km southwest of Antalya. There are prehistoric findings. Another important cave worth seeing is Molla Delii. It is located on the eastern slope of Tahtal Mountain that rises on the west of Kemer. You can access this cave only by walking from villages of Tekirova or Aa Kuzdere on the land route of Kemer – Kumluca.

Marina and 52 km long shoreline was awarded with Blue Flag thanks to fulfilling the criteria laid down by European Environment Training Foundation (FEEK). Kemer hosts plenty of events during the tourism season. Phaselis Artistic Events, Kemer Off-Shore Races, World Rally Championship Turkey Leg (WRC Rally of Turkey) and Kemer Carnival are just some of those events during the season contributing to social and touristic life of the region.
